UNIVERSAL SELF-TAPE GUIDE

General Instructions for all self-tape submissions:

Prior to filming your self-tape audition, please read the instructions below and apply the notes for preparing your best possible audition tape. Actor, dancer and singer submissions have individual particularities, so make sure to read all of the below before filming. Thank you.

Please ensure:

  • you learn and record all required elements for your chosen role(s).

  • you perform in a safe area that allows you the appropriate space to move.

  • you perform in a well-lit space with a clean white background, wearing solid colors that contrast with the background.

  • your camera is set to the landscape orientation, not portrait.

  • you use the front facing camera of the recording device, not the screen-side camera. No selfies, please!

  • you do not combine your video submissions. Videos for each role and skill should be filmed separately.

To meet the casting criteria of our seasonal shows and special events, which are roles that we cast once performers have opened in the 'home venue show', we look for performers with great versatility.  If you have skills across multiple disciplines of singing, dancing, acting or acrobatics, we would love to see them!  Please look through all audition material and upload any pieces that showcase your performing versatility.  However please do not send us videos of anything outside of the listed material below as these videos will not be watched.

You must upload your audition tapes within 7 days. Submissions will close once the candidate quota has been reached.

We look forward to seeing your tapes!
